In August 2003 a group comprising specialists from the department of agriculture, water experts, irrigation engineers and pipe manufactures assembled in the Kouebokkeveld some 300 kilometers north of Cape Town, South Africa, to view the most significant development in flood irrigation since the Sumerians 6,000 years ago. |
